Kombucha Mixed Drinks - Valentine's Edition

The season of love is upon us, and with it comes those warm bubbly feelings of affection for that special someone. By that special someone, we mean anyone special to you; your special someone may even be your pet!

In case anyone is wondering, Bonnie is our special someone here at Scobi Kombucha. Who doesn't love their Chief Motivational Officer, especially one as cute as Bonnie?

We wanted to give you some fun drink ideas to enjoy with that special someone. Try these drinks with our recommended flavors from Scobi Kombucha or mix it up with some other flavors you enjoy. (Sorry, pets! These are human only approved mixed drinks.)

Rosé Kombucha Spritz

Ingredients:

  • 3oz favorite Rosé (or wine of choice)

  • 3oz Scobi Kombucha's Golden Blend kombucha

  • lime slices

  • edible flowers (optional)

Directions:

Combine 3 oz Rosé with 3 oz Golden Blend kombucha. Garnish with a slice of lime and edible flowers.

Ingredients:

1/2 oz Amaretto Liqueur

1 1/2 oz Scobi Kombucha's Dark Cherry Basil kombucha

3 oz Moscato

cherries (optional)

Directions:

Combine 1/2 oz Amaretto Liqueur and 1 1/2 oz Dark Cherry Basil kombucha in a shaker with ice. Shake and strain into a chilled glass. Top with 3 oz Moscato. Stir gently and garnish with cherries.

Rose Petal Kombucha (Alcohol Free)

Ingredients:

1 1/2 oz Scobi Kombucha's Lovender kombucha

edible roses (or other edible fresh flowers)

distilled water

Directions:

Add rose petals from two or three flowers to an ice tray, cover halfway with distilled water, and freeze for a few hours. Remove the half-frozen ice cubes from the freezer, fill the rest of the way with distilled water, and put the tray back in the freezer for another few hours or until completely frozen. This sets the roses into the center of the ice cubes. Place 3 or 4 cubes into a glass tumbler and pour 1 1/2 oz of Lovender kombucha over the top. Add extra fresh rose petals to garnish.

To make it alcoholic, simply add 1 oz of vodka.

My Heart Beet's For You

Ingredients:

1 oz mezcal

1 oz gin

2 1/2 oz Scobi Kombucha's Purple Rain or Fight the Flu kombucha

1/4 oz simple syrup

ginger beer

fresh blackberry (optional)

sprigs of mint (optional)

Directions:

In a cokctail shaker filled with ice, add 1 oz mezcal, 1 oz gin, 2 1/2 oz Purple Rain kombucha, and 1/4 oz simple syrup. Shake and strain into a collins glass over ice and top with ginger beer. Garnish with blackberry and mint sprig.
