Scobi Kombucha was started in 2018 as a class project at South Dakota State University, in Spearfish, SD, that turned into a start-up business.

Since then, ownership has changed a couple of times and it's now located in Hot Springs, SD. I'm Mike and am fortunate to be the alchemist and caretaker of Scobi since 2021. Home brewing is what got me started in 2017 and has evolved into this amazing opportunity to provide Scobi.
